The Australian Centre for Intellectual Property in Agriculture (ACIPA) engages in innovative, independent and critical research, whilst remaining focused on the development of pragmatic and workable solutions. The Centre is composed of an active research team and an advisory board of national and international experts. Staff at the centre hail from a range of disciplinary backgrounds including law, science, history, philosophy and sociology reflecting the Centre's commitment to interdisciplinary research. The Centre has collaborated with and has been funded by a range of institutions including the Australian Research Council, Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research, Grains Research and Development Corporation, Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation, Griffith University and CGIAR.
